Lightweight application that lets you easily change between power plans when right clicking. One trayicon. Shows battery remaining. Has the option to launch at startup. Left click to change screen brightness. Written in Delphi 6 while mostly drunk.
2014-07-02 Done rewriting and compiling as a VCL application in Delphi XE3. Compiled for Win32.
- Right click to switch between available power plans
- Left click to alter display brightness
- Shows battery remaining
- Option to launch at startup
This App is exactly what windows 7 misses in the era of power plan managment. It doesn't need any installation or such things, you can just run it. I had some trouble enabling it on the startup by the option available in the program itself, so I put it in the startup manually. I just made a shortcut to it and put the shortcut in the "startup" folder (available in start menu - all programs). * just one beauty suggestion: I think you better make the taskbar icon a bit more alive. Not that it should be 3D or anything difficult. Just if the surroundings of the battery in the icon is transparent instead of solid white would be great. * It also can be improved to show more options in it's icon. i.e. it can show a little plug near the battery when you have ac adaptor connected to your laptop. (just like the windows' original battery indicator) Thanks
