Reliability
- Undo/redo now covers the entire workspace exactly: curves, transforms, scene docks, timeline position, as one transactional history.
- Layouts save and restore exactly as left, down to the timeline viewport and per-dataset time offsets (new layout schema v4).
- Curves stay attached to their own dataset through undo, layout reload, and copy/paste — no more cross-contamination between datasets with the same series names.
Extensions Marketplace
- Restored in the File menu, redesigned as a master: detail layout (browsable list + always-visible detail panel).
- Install/update queue no longer stalls, duplicates, or drops extensions when you filter, refresh, or re-trigger "Update All" mid-flight.
- Bundled plugins can be locked to their shipped version or explicitly downgraded back to bundled.
3D Scene
- Fixed a crash from oversized VoxelGrid data.
- Point clouds: better default styling, an "outside range" opacity/eye toggle, and shadows are now always on.
- On-canvas text (labels, HUD) survives GPU resets/context loss instead of going blank or garbled.
Plotting
- A time-driven marker can now ride along XY curves.
- Flat/constant series no longer get an unreadable, zero-height Y range.
- Playback: pressing Play at the end of a recording now rewinds to start instead of doing nothing.
Look & feel
- New semantic UI framework adopted app-wide: consistent search fields, section headers, scrollbars, dialog chrome.
- Redesigned "Cloud Sources" row and date-range picker.
- Bundled Noto Sans as the UI font so text renders consistently across platforms.
- Toolboxes can now be pinned as persistent tabs instead of floating docks.
Platform & delivery
- Windows: a proper installer (Qt IFW) is now built and shipped, bundling everything needed (Python stdlib, FFmpeg, curated plugins, toolbox-mosaico).
- AppImage: releases now bundle the full curated plugin set automatically.
- Faster file loading — file open and dialog rendering moved onto an async pipeline so the UI stays responsive during load.
