PlayBox is a collection of board games for Windows Desktop, Linux and OSX written in Java.
PlayBox is completely free. Just download, unzip and play.
The games can be played against the computer or against friends. The connection via network / Internet is not supported.

Not working on Mac OS X Systems Past 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) because the Eclipse parts are Power PC code not working on Lion or later ... When double clicked the Application Splash Screen Shows up for a few seconds ... then it writes an error log in the Application root folder. Crashed on Mac OS X10.9.5 running on a MacPro3,1 ... I have the error log .... I noted that in the 'configuration' folder, the item 'org.eclipse.equinox.app' has the white circle slash overlaying the APP icon: that indicates a non-working Power PC program ...
