play-next-pause is alpha software, it is currently in a works-for-me status, which means it runs on my Ubuntu machine. The Windows build has been tested and does run, occasionally. LINUX The Linux binary was generated with pyinstaller on a Ubuntu 9.10 system with python 2.6. It works on this machine, your mileage may vary; this an intial release as soon as it worked on the machine. pyinstaller has been configured with a glibc from CentOS 5 (glibc 2.5), but it seems like the play-next-pause binary needs at least 2.8 to run due to its libraries' dependencies. There may be dependencies not captured by pyinstall, give it a spin and see what happens. On Ubuntu, 9.10 has glibc 2.10, 8.10 has glibc 2.8 and 8.04 has glibc 2.7. WINDOWS The binary and supporting files were generated with py2exe. It is temperamental, sometimes you have to double click a couple of times to get it to run. It also takes some time for the remote control windows to appear.
