StrongAuth PKI2FIDO - from StrongAuth, Inc.
-------------------------------------------

This is a Beta release of the StrongAuth PKI2FIDO web-application
a Java/Angular2 web-app that allows you to strongly-authenticate
users with X509 digital certificates and then register FIDO U2F keys
in the client-authenticated session. This enables businesses and
government agencies to use previously issued trusted credentials to
issue new trusted credentials that enable simpler, stronger
authentication.

Some features of PKI2FIDO are:

- Strongly-authenticate to PKI2FIDO with an X509 digital certificate
  trusted by the application; certificate/keys can be on a smartcard;
- Validate certificate-chain using Certificate Revocation Lists (CRL).
  Support for Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) will come in
  the next release;
- Verify existence of certificate user's Subject Distinguished Name
  (Subject DN) in a Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)-based
  Directory Server to ensure they are an authorized entity within the
  enterprise/agency;
- Register a FIDO U2F Key for the strongly-authenticated user on
  StrongAuth's open-source certified FIDO Server: StrongKey CryptoEngine
  available at https://sourceforge.net/projects/skce;
- Deregister (delete) a FIDO Key from the FIDO server;
- Establish trust in a specific certificate-chain through local Keystore
  containing trusted Certification Authority's Root certificate, or
  through the authorityInfoAccess (AIA) extension;

The SHA256 digests of the files are:

The software is configured to work with StrongKey CryptoEngine, our
certified FIDO U2F server hosted on this site (project: skce).
