I like being in control of my pictures. I had a lot of pictures on photos.yahoo.com. I did not monitor that account when Yahoo bought bought Flickr in 2005 and deleted their old photo database. I guess there was a time period when they were downloadable but it was not in the original resolution. I scanned in our old family albums and tagged everyone. I have 5 siblings so its great to be able to share all the pictures. There is also a Piwigo Gallery app for Windows 8.1.
