Most times I am finding that I need to log in twice to my site.

PhpGedView 4.2.3

Is there a setting that I have missed?

It's probably to do with the configuration setting for 'PhpGedView URL'. See this thread.

Thanks for that - looks like it could be the issue, so need to look at the htaccess now too.

Would you believe that I searched the forums for the exact key words of "login twice" and didn't find that thread - sigh.
