Welcome to Photo Lith Posteriser. This is a program that coloured posterised images. It is distributed under thr GNU General Public License, version 2, and the source code is available. It is written in Java and therefore requires the Java Runtime Environment to run. This is available from the Sun web site. 128MB of RAM is required to run this program but more is recommended. At present only RGB jpeg files are supported. These are loaded from the File|Open menu item and saved using the File|Save menu item. Although the size of the displayed image changes as the window is resized this has no effect on the image size or resolution, these always remain the same as when loaded. When installing not using the installer please ensure that the folders Help and License are in the same folder as posteriser.jar . (c) Neale Clark 2005 photolith@operamail.com
