Phishing Url Detector - YMessenger Plugin
What it does:
This conversation plugin detects phishing url's (for eg. try "http://ucmeu.info/") in an instant message and sends an IM warning to you when it finds one. It makes use of http://www.phishtank.com 's open API's to make the decision.
How to install it:
1. Download the attached test.yplugin.zip file.
2. Unzip it to the following folder: {messenger installation directory}/Plugin/Test/SidePanel/test.yplugin You might have to overwrite the test.plugin folder with this one since only one test plugin can exist at one time (same plugin id's).
3. Invoke the plug-in from the Y! Msgr conversation window by select "Actions|Load a Plugin".
