pepgrep offers a quick and friendly way to examine MS tandem output data by finding a spectral pattern matching selected peptide sequence. It is database-free command-line utility that uses Peptide-to-MS2 scoring algorithm. The Peptide-to-MS2 pattern matching can accumulate dozens of mass offsets corresponding to a variety of Post-Translational Modifications.
