PenEcho 1.3.1
PenEcho 1.3.1 turns the Canvas into a shared visual workspace for the built-in PenEcho Agent and the AI agents you already use. Move from conversation to editable diagrams, documents, interactive Widgets, and handwritten feedback — all in the same space.
Highlights
- Bring your own agent with MCP. Connect Codex, Claude Code, or another MCP-compatible client through Local MCP or Cloud MCP. Agents can discover explicitly enabled Canvases, capture context, create and edit Canvas objects, work with interactive Widgets and source files, and respond to handwritten feedback.
- More capable PenEcho Agent workflows. Work with files and documents, create editable visual content, continue conversations reliably, and receive clearer progress and error reporting.
- Cloud and Linked Device improvements. Cloud Canvases load, save, and recover more reliably. Cloud features remain available without an online Linked Device, while a connected device adds access to its local files and AI connections.
- A smoother Canvas workspace. Drawing, navigation, selection, resizing, keyboard shortcuts, the Agent panel, and Studio controls have been refined while preserving live Widget state.
- Flexible AI connections. Save multiple API or CLI connections, select an active connection for each client, or use supported PenEcho-hosted models with Cloud credits.
- Updated documentation and packaging. Includes multilingual guides, expanded MCP setup documentation, a new architecture overview, and refreshed desktop packaging.
