  • Great, works fine on ubuntu 19.10, 18 and all the rest if you follow my tutorial here, no need to add extra repos for gksu: pastebin(dot)com/dBFYLVsQ
  • To utherc: Is still possible install gksu to 18.04 LTS using this two packages from 17.10 (yes, work!) libgksu2-0_2.0.13~pre1-9ubuntu2_amd64.deb gksu_2.0.2-9ubuntu1_amd64.deb (download from security.ubuntu.com) Then use pg in the usual way... (does not work on wayland - switch to X!)
  • I have used this with Ubuntu 16.04 LTS without any issues. Worked great. Since upgrading to Ubuntu 18.04 LTS it doesn't work. gksu has been deprecated. When I try to update it I get this message. "Could not use either kdesu(do) or gksu(do) to execute the command requested. You can set the path of the one you prefer in "Options - Settings - Sudo front-end"". Anyone know of a fix?
  • thanks for this. used it when i was windows years ago, nice to see it lives on as linux! long live linux! thank you for the deb repo!

  • bergstrand.org/brian/software/bin/PeerGuardian_180b2.zip p.s. If it still doesn't seem to work after this update, try "Quit Helpers", "Quit" and then relaunch. The kernel extension version should be 1.1.13: $ kextstat | grep xxx 233 0 0xffffff7f8292d000 0x5000 0x5000 xxx.qnation.PeerGuardian (1.1.13) <5 4 3 1>

  • I don't get how Linux development is continuing but OSX development is not? Come on! The lastest osx version is a joke. It's one big heap of memory leak trash. Every second it just leaks, it uses more and more memory until after a couple of hours or so all the memory on your system is used up. OSX users are screwed.
  • Don't like the interface of program. Not user-friendly.
