DownloadPeerGuardian is a privacy oriented firewall application. It blocks connections to and from hosts specified in huge blocklists (thousands or millions of IP ranges). Its origin seeds in targeting aggressive IPs while you use P2P.
PeerGuardian Linux:
Not developed actively anymore. Team might still be around. Some unreleased changes on git. Outdated technology.
Peerguardian OS X:
Not developed anymore. We've lost contact with the OS X developer.
PeerGuardian Windows:
Not developed anymore. It's highly recommended to use PeerBlock instead, which is a continuation of PeerGuardian's development in Windows, with bug fixes and support for Windows Vista and Windows 7. Collaboration with peerblock.com is welcome!
PeerGuardian is an open project. Not only is its source code open for you to read, use, and modify - but the project is open for you to join and contribute in any form (code, documentation, bug reports, web and support).

To utherc: Is still possible install gksu to 18.04 LTS using this two packages from 17.10 (yes, work!) libgksu2-0_2.0.13~pre1-9ubuntu2_amd64.deb gksu_2.0.2-9ubuntu1_amd64.deb (download from security.ubuntu.com) Then use pg in the usual way... (does not work on wayland - switch to X!)

I have used this with Ubuntu 16.04 LTS without any issues. Worked great. Since upgrading to Ubuntu 18.04 LTS it doesn't work. gksu has been deprecated. When I try to update it I get this message. "Could not use either kdesu(do) or gksu(do) to execute the command requested. You can set the path of the one you prefer in "Options - Settings - Sudo front-end"". Anyone know of a fix?
