Inline Calculator & Math Mode Toggle
Tap the calculator icon in the numpad's bottom bar to activate Math Mode. The icon subtly "pops" and scales to confirm activation, instantly transforming your clean expense entry into a capable, on-screen calculator without cluttering your workspace.

Liquid Layout Transitions
Experience a premium, organic shift as the interface adapts. Existing numbers gracefully slide left to make room, while operator buttons (+, −, ×, ÷) cascade in from the right with a staggered fade-and-slide animation. No jarring jumps—just smooth, tactile motion that feels physically grounded.

Live Result Preview & Smart Expression Tracking
Perform math in real-time without guessing or switching apps. As you type, a secondary preview line instantly calculates and displays the running total (e.g., 100 + 50 = 150). The display intelligently adapts to show pending operations, and tapping Enter cleanly finalizes the calculated amount into your transaction.

Tactile Scrub Timeline
Ditch clunky pop-up pickers. Slide your finger left or right on the Date and Time pills to effortlessly scrub through days and hours. Each "tick" triggers precise haptic feedback, mimicking physical gears. A floating indicator shows your offset in real-time, while smart "shimmy" and pulse hints guide you on first use—then gracefully disappear to keep the interface minimalist. Tap instead of drag to open the traditional calendar fallback if needed.

🔧 Developer Note: The inline calculator uses a lightweight sequential math engine with TransitionManager for hardware-accelerated transitions. The Tactile Scrub Timeline leverages custom OnTouchListener implementations to cleanly distinguish taps (calendar fallback) from drags (scrubbing), HapticFeedbackConstants.CLOCK_TICK for discrete value changes, and auto-dismissing hint animations for seamless discoverability. All gesture and layout logic is fully encapsulated to maintain zero inflation overhead.
