What sets PearlPi apart from other releases is a self contained OS with both a Linux desktop for you basic computer tasks as well as Kodi Media Center for all your entertainment desires. Kodi streams perfect 1080i HD Video Streams from your home Internet Connection. TO PLAY VIDEO FILES ON DESKTOP ....
Most likely you will want to play all your multimedia through your Kodi Interface however if you would like to easily be able to play video as well as audio on the desktop, simply install banshee. To do this in your terminal type: " sudo apt-get install banshee "
