                 Pearl 3.0 (16.04) DEV (beta)

Recommended Installation Instructions:

Burn the iso to USB using USB-Creator on linux
or YUMI if on windows. YUMI is a multi OS installer.
You can install more than 1 OS per USB stick.
When installing Pearl please choose mintyMac from drop
down menu and choose show all.... then browse for the iso.

You may also use your fav DVD burner to burn a DVD if u choose.

Pearl version 3.0 boots into the live session login screen. Just click ok
without a password to enter live session.

The default Window Manager is Compiz. We have a backup of "safe" settings
for compiz in your home directory. We added some effects to the safe settings
on this release. We added shift switcher. To activate it, once you have a
couple or more windows open, slide mouse to bottom left corner of screen.
You can see 3d windows by holding down cntrl and alt while grabbing a window.

If installing on a netbook some windows may not fit completly on screen
without USING THE "WINDOWS/SPECIAL key on keyboard and grab a window
from the sides with your left clicker... you can then move windows
beyond the top panel and bottom of screen.

After install for best performance, altho not required, its best
to open up a terminal and type these simple commands.

1) sudo pico /etc/apt/sources.list
Uncomment the first line of that file which is our repository.

So its from
#deb http://apt.pearllinux.com/pearl tooey main

To this
deb http://apt.pearllinux.com/pearl tooey main

2) sudo apt-get update

3) sudo apt-get upgrade

4) sudo apt-get autoremove

5) and finally sudo apt-get update once again.

------>>>>> (GUI) lol DEVELOPERS RELEASE WARNING !!! <<<<<<<---------
