When you boot into the Live System you should not have
to login you will be auto logged in.

If for some reason you need it the username & password are:

username = live   password = live

When installing to hard drive you will need to give root password
which is also "live".

We highly recommend Ventoy, Etcher or Gnome-Disk-Utility to Image the
ISO to a USB drive


Calamares is a straight forward easy to use Linux Installer Aoo.
 Will boot in BIOS legacy mode or UEFI depending on how your
 system boots.
 
We use a modified version of remastersys to remaster our releases
for Debian based OS's. The main scrupt gets uninstalled once you
install to hard drive to complete the install process.. We included
MX-Snapshoy by the great distribution MXLinux. This is an easier way
to do regular backups of complete system that is bootable but is not
suitable for distribution images.

I will do my best to once again do better over on our forum or at
sourceforge with support for Pearl in general but will likely upload
within a week to https://pearllinux.freeforums.net some howto videos
for the many newly added goodies on this Pearl release. Our first Rolling
Release with updated point drops of this release will also be avaialable.
