PDFCrop crops the white margins of PDF pages and rescales them to fit a standard size sheet of paper. It makes printed pages much easier to read. PDFCrop is particularly useful for resizing journal articles and converting between letter-size and A4 paper

This software worked great for me in that I was able to crop a file that pdfcrop on linux wouldn't crop. Clearly, something was wrong with the file -- it didn't even display, but I was still able to crop it.

It's a very good tool to shrink margins, squeeze 2 pages on one printed page, save paper, and do good to the environment! :)
