When open this software to use, you will see a black window with white letters. Then, you may have to wait approximately 2-5 minutes so that the ready-to-use window will appear. After that, use it. Thank you. We were able to convert our PDF into a single booklet with the default settings. Works flawlessly. I was looking for the user guide in the website, but it is available in the software itself. The following two were not fully intuitive for me: 1. Opening of PDF file is by File->Files 2. Writing of the PDF happens when we click on Go. Thank you again. This is a wonderful software.

PDF Booklet is an excellent tool for manipulating PDF files. PDF Booklet opens a PDF file and creates a new one that can be printed as a booklet.  It has many functions for manipulating the pages of a PDF file.  PDF Booklet can scale the pages so that they can be printed on a different page size. You can adjust the margins, add blank pages and print multiple booklets in one run. If you wish to create an A5 booklet that is printed on A4 paper and folded PDF Booklet can arrange the pages so that they are printed with the last and first page on the same sheet. It's simple then to fold and staple to produce a booklet.  However if you have a book, with many pages it is necessary to print the pages in smaller folded sections. The program can even adjust the margins to account for creep as the outside sheets of a section have to go around more sheets and need to have slightly larger inside margins and slightly smaller outside margins. Pretty advanced functionality! Thank you for creating this and sharing it freely. It's much appreciated.

It crashes as soon as I load the PDF files. I could not even try it.

For me it has been very-very useful the last two years or so. BUT when downloading in Windows the executable of version 3.0.4, AVG has warned me about a virus. The "unziping" version seems clean for AVG antivirus.

It works perfectly. Something weird happened after I first installed. Only a black window appeared when I load the software. Maybe the GUI need sometime to appear? After I installed the latest python and restart windows 10 AND drag a pdf file onto the desktop shortcut, it started working. Need to explain what all the features do. But after use it, I figured out most of them. Thank. Great software.

I would not argue with the usefulness of any features - simply because I can't. To do so would require me to install PdfBooklet on my windows machine. The installer (.exe) nicely terminates, but when I start PdfBooklet, I get an error referring me to the logfile, which says: Traceback (most recent call last): File "pdfbooklet.py", line 3743, in <module> File "pdfbooklet.py", line 3652, in main WindowsError: [Error 5] Access is denied: u'C:\\Util\\PdfBookShuffler\\tempfiles' I have created a ticket for this

I converted a pdf book created for printing to the online version in five minutes. I have tried it before with gs and gave up exausted. Thanks for your software, lightweight and powerful.

Very nice tool to create brochure without trying to guess how to setup printer. It would be great if the tool had option to add some space between pages - so everything will be visible after stitching.

Absoultely wonderful application for creating booklets.

Many people needs to modify the layout of some pdfs an create booklets in order to print it properly. But it's difficult to find a good software to achieve it. Pdfbooklet is a promising application that can do it and it's free. maybe it needs some improvement but it works. It would be great to have the global transformation scale split in two: horizontal scale and vertical scale. And also the option to change the output page type (A4, letter...) Another common option missing here is the "stack all pages", that allows you to see all pages together in order to know the proper margins.

Years ago, I used Adobe Reader to print the booklet of pdf files. After Adobe discontinued the support of new release updates of Adobe Reader for Linux. I found that pdfbooklet is an application that is capable of creating booklet from pdf files. I must give it a try..
