pdf417_encode

This program takes an ascii input text file and converts it to the pdf417 barcode.
It supports text compression, numeric compression and byte compression. It currently
produces postscript and pbm output for the barcode image.

Hi, Susanna. Have you used its PDF417 software? Frankly, it's more convenient to use. Users can customize the barcode properties freely, like barcode color, size, rotation. And you may directly encode PDF417 into multiple image formats(gif, png,tiff, jpg, bmp...). Try it! http://www.onbarcode.com/software/pdf417_generator.html
