The NEW UPDATED 2014.2 is now available for download. There are a only a couple of software changes, general updating and new default wallpaper. Please refer to the README file.

PCLinuxOS Openbox is a 32 bit i686 operating system. It is a clean and elegant presentation of Openbox in its pure form. It has no icons or panels to clutter your workspace, but it does feature a terminal embedded in the "desktop", conky for information and a system tray.

The right-click root menu features a dynamically updated application menu, plus a number of other shortcuts, including the Openbox Control Center.

Thunar is the file manager and is loaded with custom actions, including setting wallpaper, archiving and file searching. There are also many keybindings that make work much more efficient.

The weblink below will lead you to the PCLinuxOS forum where PCLinuxOS Openbox was born and raised! Feel free to look around and say hello.
