pc2box enables file exchange between a computer system and a storage device that is formatted with the LaSAT Video File System, a file system that is used by many PVRs, but not supported by the current operating systems (Windows, Linux).

  • Import media files from PVR to PC
  • Supports following transport streams: Audio (mp2), Video (mpeg-2) and HD Video (h.264)
  • Transfers raw .REC files from PVR to PC and back to PVR ("pc2box")
  • Converts raw .REC files into transport stream
  • Versions available for Windows and Linux, 32-bit as well as 64-bit
  • Displays electronic program guide (EPG) information for recorded streams
  • Supports PVR hard disk partition sizes up to 4TB
  • Automatically scans for available HDD devices (proper access rights required on Linux, see README.linux)
