1.18.8 Material list: the device's media catalogue When querying the rolls, Passermark now reads the device's complete media catalogue along (IPP media-col-database). In the material list the loaded media appear as "(device)", all other set-up media as "(device, not loaded)" – your own materials follow. If you pick a medium that is not loaded, Passermark sends its media type to the driver. The dialog reports that it is set up on the device but not loaded – load the roll or choose another one. passermark-cli rolls PRINTER shows the list under "Set up on the device, not loaded:" – with --json as catalog. Limitation: the catalogue is only available via IPP. Devices that speak SNMP only report the loaded rolls. 1.18.7 Settings per plan With individual plans or posters selected, changes apply only to those: material, roll, position on the roll, rotation, print area, margin, scaling and overspill. With nothing or everything selected, they apply to all. Above the settings it says when only the selection is affected; in the list, plans with deviations show ✎ with what differs (e.g. "✎ 200 % · matte poster paper 180 g"). A plan with its own material or its own roll is placed on its own. Scaling: in percent, "short edge to … mm" or "long edge to … mm" – the other edge follows in proportion. Materials The media of the loaded rolls now appear in the material list automatically, marked "(device)"; your own materials are added to them. A material from the device picks exactly the roll with that medium. "Media type" is gone from the dialog. Shipping "One job, one sheet per copy" is the new default. Optionally one job per copy or a copy count. Preview and dry run Under the list every printed sheet is rendered small, with size, roll and "×3 ✂" – for multi-page plans and posters too. In the dry run the cutting line now also appears in the text output. Command line and print log --copies-mode sheets|jobs|count; scale_mode/scale_mm for scaling; overrides per page number for deviations of individual plans. The print log saves the overrides – reprinting comes out the same. 1.18.5 Plan and poster printing: automatic cutting Plan and poster printing was not cut automatically despite the correct setting – the error is fixed. 1.18.6 Roll detection improved Roll detection is improved – rolls from the device are recognised more reliably.
