PyLOAD is a Python port of Lord of Ancient Darkness, and is now the official version. Features and content may be back-ported to the C version as time allows, but it will lag behind PyLOAD. All future iterations of LOAD will be developed exclusively in Python. PyLOAD requires a functional install of Python 2.x (tested with 2.6 and 2.7). Beginning with version 0.3.4, PyLOAD also requires a working Curses module. On Windows, you will need to either use the Cygwin version of Python (www.cygwin.com), or download and install one of the Curses packages available at the Parthias Games website (parthiasgames.sourceforge.net/files/curses)
