WARNING : This is _NOT_ a final release. This release is a very early beta
version. It's virtually unusable, just consider it as a teaser

FAQs :

+ I just can't wait to have Linux on my Palm, what should I do ?
BACKUP your Palm data. We won't be held responsible for _any_ data loss. Install the garux.prc file on it. Click, and you're done :-D

 + What's the point of this ?
Let you know that Linux _can_ run on your Palm.

 + Hey, it's completly useless !
We know. This is a teaser. The "Unable to mount rootfs" error is normal.

 + I want to go further !
You can if you own a MMC (MultiMedia Card). Format it to ext2, and create a working ARM v4t rootfs on its first partition. We're working on that at the moment :-)

 + What's this .patch file ?
It's the modifications we applied to the Linux-OMAP kernel to get it running on the Palm Tungsten E. We released it to fit the GNU GPL. Our changes will hopefully be merged in the mainline linux tree, so this file shall not be needed later.

 + What's Garux.tar.gz ?
It's a tarball containing the bootloader. We virtually made this from the ground up. It's licensed under the GNU GPL.

+ Where can I find the GNU GPL ?
     Here : http://www.fsf.org/licensing/licenses/gpl.html

+ Does it run on another Palm ?
Maybe. A friend of mine got some nice results on the Tungsten T2. However, we do _not_ support _any_ other PDA (that is including the E2, which is completly different appart from its case). Yet if you feel like sending any PDA to the developper team, we might consider porting Linux to it :-D

+ My question isn't in that FAQ :-S
Please check out our website (http://palmtelinux.sourceforge.net). You might send us an email from there, too.
