The Post & Goode PDF provides an introduction to Palette Designer and background information. Palette Designer includes a “Directions” tab that explains the user interface and provides a readily accessible memory-jogger during use. CIEDE2000.xlsm contains a VBA function that computes the CIEDE2000 color difference between colors that are specified in terms of CIELAB coordinates. It is offered as a separate download because it can be used standalone. We plan to incorporate it into Palette Designer eventually.
