This package provides replacement implementations for the standard C++ new() and delete() operators, as well as for core standard C library functions that allocate and free memory, e.g., malloc() and free(). The C replacement functions are primarily provided as examples, as most of them are provided by the BDWGC and DMALLOC packages. The package will build either library, or both libraries, containing the C++ replacement operators: * 'libnew_bdwgc' using the Boehm-Demers-Weiser Garbage Collector (BDWGC) [https://www.hboehm.info/gc/] * 'libnew_dmalloc' using the Debug Malloc Library (DMALLOC) [https://dmalloc.com/]. The package must be separately configured and installed prior to its use with Ox.
