The OSPrey Call Simulator reads an input file of Call Detail Records (CDRs) to recreate those calls as simulated transactions with an OSP server. The Call Simulator reads the Called Number (plus other optional fields) from each CDR and sends an OSP AuthorizationRequest to an OSP server which responds with an OSP AuthorizationResponse. The Call Simulator processes the OSP server response and combines the relevant information, such as destination IP address, with the call duration (plus other optional fields) from the input CDR to create a complete OSP UsageIndication which is transmitted to the OSP server.
