Hello, and welcome to the original gcc for the original KPU
(crypto-processor unit; see https://sourceforge.net/projects/or1ksim64kpu/)

At this late date, I believe my modifications were made against a
pre-release version of gcc 4.9.2 for open risc 1.0 on the open risc
website.  The final open risc gcc release 4.9.2 may nowadays be found at

 https://github.com/openrisc/or1k-gcc/archive/refs/tags/gcc-4_9_2-release.tar.gz
 https://github.com/openrisc/or1k-gcc/releases

I'm back-calculating for the patch in the present directory.

The date of my code release is 1 month before the gcc 4.9.2 release date
for open risc.  The patch attemps to bridge the two. 

But take the patch with a grain of salt and see if you can generate better.
