optelephony project crash-course points by jpfreyen, 09/03/09, on behalf of http://www.open-plug.com/ This is Open Plug's open-source Linux API for their telephony stack that runs on Linux. The purpose of this document is to give some crash-course information on this project. Extensive documentation and API can be generated for this project using doxygen. The default autogen.sh case in the script uses a flag that enables doxygen compilation. Currently this project needs a libdbus-c++ project that Open Plug modified that has not been pushed upstream. This project has been made available here for compilation. This document will be updated when these merges have been made upstream and the project uses the upstream libdbus-c++ project. Open Plug's telephony server and optelephony API has been tested and proven to work on Moblin 2.1 and Fedora 9 with the Option 501 USB modem.
