Java Micro Benchmark - control tasks required to determine the comparative 
performance characteristics of the computer system on different platforms. 
Can be used to determine the effect of different software on the performance of a computer system. 

The program is developed with use of language Java and can be used in various 
operational systems (Windows, Linux, Solaris, Unix, etc.).

INSTALLATION AND USEFUL COMMANDS TO RUN:

Java Micro Benchmark - written completely in Java and will run in any certified Java Virtual Machine (JVM).

You need to install the following to get started with Java Micro Benchmark

    * A Java Engine - http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/  You can take either the Runtime environment (JRE) or the Development Kit (SDK).
    * Java Micro Benchmark Engine - http://sourceforge.net/projects/opt/files/JavaMicroBenchmark.jnlp/download	
	
To run the program from browser:

To run the program from browser:
1) Download zip file JavaMicroBenchmark_Applet_XX_XXX.zip - http://sourceforge.net/projects/opt/files/ 
2) UnZip file JavaMicroBenchmark_Applet_XX_XXX.zip
3) Change dir ...\JavaMicroBenchmark_Applet_XX_XXX\
4) Run index_JavaMicroBenchmarkApplet.html 

To run the program from the bash file:
1) Download zip file JavaMicroBenchmark_Console_XX.XXX.zip - http://sourceforge.net/projects/opt/files/ 
2) UnZip file JavaMicroBenchmark_Console_XX.XXX.zip
3) Change dir ...\JavaMicroBenchmark_Console_XX.XXX\bin\
4) Run:
	JavaMicroBenchmarkCPU.bat
	JavaMicroBenchmarkHDD.bat
	JavaMicroBenchmarkDesktop.bat
	JavaMicroBenchmarkServer.bat
