This release incorporates fixes based on a round of testing using various software analysis tools on both Linux (primarily openSuse 11.1) and on Mac OS X (primarily 10.7). Testing has also been done on Ubuntu 14.04 (32-bit and 64-bit). However, the testing has been done with USB scanners, not with other classes of devices.
