OpenSquilla 0.2.0
"Imagine shipping without 1-click migration."
Yeah, we heard you loud and clear. We got clowned. 🤡
Well, it is here.
🦐 OpenSquilla 0.2.0 brings out-of-the-box migration from OpenClaw and Hermes. Port your configs, memory, personas, skills, MCP settings, channel settings, and platform setup into OpenSquilla in seconds, with dry-run previews and explicit apply controls.
Feel free to compare, migrate, and comment.
But we did not stop at migration. This release moves OpenSquilla closer to being the core of your daily production workflow.
What's New
1-click migration from OpenClaw and Hermes
opensquilla migrate can detect existing OpenClaw and Hermes homes, preview what will be imported, and apply the migration explicitly.
It covers:
- configs and provider settings
- memory and persona files
- skills compatibility reporting
- MCP and channel config mapping
- conflict handling and migration reports
CLI-first workflow
opensquilla chat is now an early usable terminal chat surface, with streaming output, queued input, slash-mode discovery, status chrome, tool-call feedback, and inline approval handling.
Automation with Cron
Cron automation now works across CLI, Web UI, RPC, channels, and webhooks.
It supports structured schedules, timezone-aware cron / every / at jobs, exact and jittered runs, manual runs, channel delivery, webhook delivery, and failure destinations.
MCP server bridge
OpenSquilla can now run as an inbound MCP server bridge for session workflows.
External MCP clients can list sessions, read conversation history, send messages, and wait for gateway session events.
Better channel and artifact delivery
Feishu and Discord support now includes clearer capability metadata, safer DM/group policy handling, native file/artifact paths, attachment ingestion, and improved health/status reporting.
Generated artifacts are also more reliable across Web UI and channels, including fallback delivery and Unicode-safe PDF rendering.
Memory and session improvements
Memory surfaces now separate curated memory from raw transcript search, can recall prior-session evidence, and keep manual Dream runs aligned with configured memory workspaces.
Release and install polish
0.2.0 includes versioned release assets and a latest-download alias for the Windows portable zip.
