ImageJ Plugin for OpenJUMP allows to open Image files (jpg, tif, png loaded into openjump using
Sextante Raster layer loader) with the jar raster manipulation ImageJ program

	SETUP

- Expand ImageJPlugIn_01.zip  into OpenJUMP/LIB/EXT folder

you should have this files/folder available
a) File OpenJUMP/LIB/EXT/ImageJPlugIn_01.jar
b) Folder OpenJUMP/LIB/EXT/ImageJ with ImageJ program and its folder/files

	MENU AND USAGE

The plugin is  available under RASTER>TOOLS submenu

a) click on a Raster Image file
b) select RASTER>TOOLS>Open Raster with ImageJ option

Raster files are opened and displayed into ImageJ frames.

   WARNINGS

a) ImageJ is only a Raster manipulation software and doesn't read Geographic Informations.
   This means that Images can be displayed with different size than OpenJUMP display
b) Saving an image with ImageJ to the original file you will loose all the Geographic information.
   It is raccomanded (even mandatory) to take all possible precautions (save to other file, copy Geographic info to another worldfile, etc)

   CASE TEST
  
Open a DEM TIF file and apply a LUT with a scale and a legend to use into a paper
a) Raster Info and read CELL DIMENSION
 a) open raster with ImageJ
 b) Analyze/Set Scale and set parameter
    - Distance in pixels: CELL DIMENSION
    - Know Dimension: 1
    - Pixel aspect ratio: 1 (if dx=dy)
    - Unit: meter (or feet, etc)
 c) Analyze/Tools/Scale Bar to set the scalebar
 d) Image/Lookup Tables and choose the LUT (es FIRE)
 e) Analyze/Tools/Calibration Bar and set the 
 f) Save the file

I do not recommend using the package for mission-critical applications or works which require a better measure accuracy.
