The files in this directory are meta package files for Ubuntu and Debian based systems. The packages are just dummy packages that can install selections of software all at once. Packages like this come in very handy when you are still getting to know your way in Linux. A package like these can then pull in all populair software in a certain category. We have a package that pulls in multimedia programs to play all types of music and video. Also there are packages for populair internet, virtualistion, games, desktop publishing and more. One more nice addition is the libre office repository installer. Don't know what a repository is but can't wait to start using Libre office than just double click our installer, open the software center, refresh software lists and install libre office like any other application. If you open a package with a packagemanager you can see a full description of it's contents before installing. De pakketten kunnen wel uw Debian of Ubuntu systeem opdracht geven om een reeks software te installeren. Dit kan erg handig zijn wanneer u pas begint met Linux en nog zoekende bent naar de juiste software. De pakketten installeren allen een reeks met zeer populaire programma's in hun genre. Momenteel hebben we een multimedia pakket wat alle populaire en benodigde software installeert om alle vormen van muziek en video te kunnen bekijken en beluisteren. Ook hebben we pakketten met de meest populaire internet, games, desktop publishing, 2D/3D grafisch design en virtualisatie sotware beschikbaar. Op de meeste moderne systemen kunt u de pakketten installeren met een dubbele klik. Ook ziet u in uw software centrum nog een korte omschrijving van de pakketten voor u deze installeert. Deze pakketten zijn gemaakt voor het project "Open Bron& Digitale Duurzaamheid" (http://digitaalduurzaam.nl) Bij dit project kunt u terecht voor gratis informatie, demonstraties en installaties van Linux en open source software.
