OpenHeist

OpenHeist is an in-development free-to-play first-person criminal simulator. The goal of the game is to explore a small collection of hostile environments ranging from a medieval castle to a 1930's casino, using whatever means you can to rob them blind.

This game project is similar in vain to the Payday series by Overkill Software, and is aimed to extend some core gameplay concepts of the franchise -- but without reusing or rehashing any content produced by Overkill.

OpenHeist will be designed to be extensible and easily user-moddable and is based on Unreal Engine 4. A full triple-A title is not to be expected; this game is merely a framework for other mod authors to expand upon. Think of it as a "community base-game" with a modest selection of core content that is designed to be tampered with and extended.
