Opencurrent is a PCB circuit that gives you the ability to measure small currents precisely, which is lacking in almost all multimeters.
Design was from EEVBlog.com and reproduced with permission. Tested units can be bought from the man who designed them, David Jones. This design hasn't been tested as his has.
Be sure to grab the library files from here:https://sourceforge.net/projects/eelp/files/
Features
- uCurrent design (from EEVBlog.com with permission)
- Part list and Gerber files available
- Rev AB tested and works, at least for mA range (can't test others)
- More info available at Mecharobotics.wordpress.com
- EELP.zip contains the part files, be sure to download that too!

Version AA had the routing all on one side. While this wasn't a problem, it did make for some longer traces than necessary, so I changed it to have minimal traces on the front. You can check out the AA version here: http://www.reddit.com/r/PCBDesignReview/comments/mxb3u/pcb_review_of_opencurrent/
