A features release. You can compare two independent DWG drawings side by side, import a 3D mesh directly in the browser with a quantity read-out, and read the project dashboard from a redesigned map with a side panel of sites and local weather. You can support the project through PayPal or GitHub Sponsors, and contributors are credited on a community thank-you wall. It also loads large BIM models without running out of memory, gives the client portal a Documents area so a shared client can see and open their files, and makes Bill of Quantities quantity cells accept imperial feet-and-inches and resolve variable and cross-position references correctly in both metric and imperial.
Added
- Compare two independent DWG drawings side by side, not only two versions of the same file (#289).
- Import 3D meshes (glTF, GLB, OBJ, DAE, 3DS, FBX, STL, PLY, USD) with in-browser quantity extraction.
- A redesigned project dashboard map, a compact map with a side panel of sites and local weather.
- Support for the project through PayPal and GitHub Sponsors, with a community thank-you wall for contributors.
- A Documents area in the client portal, so a shared client can see and open the files shared with them (#288).
- Translations for the new screens across all locales.
Fixed
- The BIM 3D viewer loads large models without running out of memory, which previously surfaced as a parsing error (#291).
- Bill of Quantities quantity cells accept imperial feet-and-inches input (for example 10'6", 3/4") and no longer store an unparseable entry as zero (#290).
- Bill of Quantities quantity cells resolve $variables and pos() references, correctly in both metric and imperial, so a measured quantity can be reused across positions (#292).
