Highlights

  • All upload size restrictions removed — across backend (8 modules) and frontend (UI hints, i18n strings in all locales). The XLSX zip-bomb decompressed-size guard stays — it's a memory-safety check, not a user cap.
  • /files deeplinks open the actual file — preview pane primary CTA, hover overlay on grid tiles, inline cell on list view; each file links to its native tool with file context (PDF → /takeoff?doc=, IFC/RVT → /projects/{p}/bim/{modelId}, DWG → /dwg-takeoff?drawingId=, photos → /photos?photo=).
  • /files moved to Sidebar Overview group alongside Dashboard / Projects.

Removed

  • Final user-facing size-cap copy: dashboard.upload_desc, MAX_UPLOAD_BYTES guard, files.upload_hint, costs.import_accepted, fieldreports.file_types, bim.upload_size_hint/landing_size_hint, CadDataExplorerPage 'Max 100 MB'.
