After working with the KPT framework I found a few core benefits of KPT Framework from a designer / developers standpoint: 1. KPT Framework is very easy to use and develop text input applications. 2. Developers can develop text entry applications with in a short period of time with minimum changes/customizations. 3. OpenAdaptxt can customize for different platforms (Example: Windows/Symbian/Android) and connected devices (Examples:Tablets/Mobiles/camers/Flight applications) 4. Developer can customize application and pick and choose the functionality what they wish to implement in their applications 5. Suggestion engine Suggestion engine response is very quick and suggesting the suggestions with high quality-low KSPC 6. OpenAdaptxt is supporting multiple language and subject expert dictionaries Note: Developer can make his own dictionary with help of Dictionary Create application tool 7. Packages Framework has given opportunity to add and remove components (Example: Dictionaries) to framework. 8. Keymaps: KPT frame work is supporting text input from verity keyboard Layouts example: 12key, QWERTY..Etc. 9. User Dictionary: Here KPT suggestion engine is learning the words and Capitalization with context and saving those words in to Userpersonel dictionary 10.
