OPCRIT and OPCRIT + are research diagnostic tools for psychiatric disorders developed by the late Peter McGuffin and James Rucker, respectively. The projects were uploaded to SourceForge in 2020 in order to retain access to users. However, support for this project has officially ended.
OPCRIT was published in 1994 and is restricted to major psychotic and affective diagnoses. OPCRIT will not run on versions of Windows beyond Windows XP.
OPCRIT + was published in 2009 and adds anxiety, substance misuse, personality and dementia diagnoses and redeveloped the database engine in mySQL. OPCRIT+ is verified to run on Windows 7 and is known to run on both Windows 10 and Windows 11, but you must use the version of MySQL included here.
