OMRuben is a library for Open Music focused on musical scores, dealing with rhythm quantification, filterings, pitch shifting, time scaling, time pointer, orchestral envelopes, approximation, score conversions, score export for csound and antescofo, gesture composition and various new compositional techniques.

Place the OMRuben folder in the libraries folder of your installed OM version. This library is written in lisp, and has been tested with OM 6.9 and 6.10.

You will find documentation for many objects by typing 'd'. A collection of demo patches are included.
Developed by Ruben Sverre Gjertsen and ported to lisp 2015.

Update 3/1-2021:
Many bug fixes, rhythmic conversion from multi-seq to poly are now more precise. Demo patches should work, you need to manually select input files on your system.

R-udp-player
The R-udp-player is a fluidsynth player created as a microtonal playback app for Ircams Open Music, version 6.10 or later. Some settings need to be done in Open Music for this to work: In the midi settings of Open Music, choose 'osc-scoreplayer' as the default scoreplayer and check the option 'force score player'. R-udp-player is available as Max 8 patches and standalone apps. On others systems you will have to use the included max patches. Make sure you install the 64-bit fluidsynth object in the folder 'dependencies'. You can then save a standalone app for your own system. If the app is damaged, follow this guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6fqzb4qpgcs Use terminal: xattr -cr [drag in the file] Do not move the app or patch out of the folder, otherwise it won't find the necessary files. By default, there are 20 instruments playing 1/16-tones. It's easy to add more instruments editing the Max patch.

These are patches that are based on the "KeyCheck" method (selection of patches/items with the volume keys) - so far these are the largest patches with this implementation. The patches were not only carried over, but also 80% improved and reworked into modules and vice versa with many variations and alternatives that will also improve. In the future, many new choices/methods/fixes/and useful patches will be added, as well as fixes of found errors.
