Starting with an N-gon of N sides we create an X gon with all possible interconnections, drawn not all at once but line-by-line.
Transparency, color, and line thickness, draw speed, can all be adjusted. Symmetry can be maintained or broken.
Algebra is given in the program that describes the number of points formed in the geometry, the number of overlapping triangles, the number of possible angles, and the number of lines, all equations based on the parameter 'X'.
This program is good to get kids interested in math, and could be an easy addition to a course where students have been questioning the usefulness of algebra.
For artists, this program may be soothing, and even for non-artists its basically doing something that would otherwise take a lot of time and skill.
For any architects, it seems to be a possible tension based structure that could be applied in a circular tower with cables.
Also good for making cool birthday cards where 'X' is the age of the person. ;)
