Please use the below packages for installing OpenSSL 1.0.0a on your platform:

1. Windows Installer:
   Win32OpenSSL-1_0_0a.exe
   OpenSSL 1.0.0a on windows has dependecy on Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package(x86). It can be downloaded from: 
   http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyid=9B2DA534-3E03-4391-8A4D-074B9F2BC1BF&displaylang=en

2. Solaris 5.10 Installer:
   openssl-1.0.0a-sol10-sparc-local.gz
   Note: OpenSSL 1.0.0a has dependency on gcc libraries on Solaris platform.


3. HP-UX11 PA-RISC Installer:
   openssl-1.0.0a-hppa-11.11.depot.gz
   Note: OpenSSL 1.0.0a has dependency on gcc libraries on HP platform.

Please ensure that:

1. For HP the environment variable SHLIB_PATH should contain the openssl libraries.
2. For Solaris the environment variable LD_LIBRARY_PATH should contain the openssl libraries.
3. For Windows environment variable PATH should contain the openssl binaries.
