NZB Download Deluxe The clear and simply to use nzb downloader Development and Copyright (C) 2012 Kai Heitkamp ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This document contains installation instructions for NZB Download Deluxe Binary optimizations ==================== The Linux binary is compiled with the "-march=i686" compiler flag and therefore optimized for i686 prozossers! You need a Intel Pentium Pro respectively an AMD K7 or better! Installation - Linux ==================== If you want to install with a file manager (Nautilus, Dolphin, ...): 1. Open file manager as root, if you want install outside your home dir 2. Right click on the .run file -> Properties -> Permissions 3. Check “Allow execution” 4. Press “Close” 5. Double click the .run file 6. Follow installers instructions If you want to install in a terminal (Gnome/KDE terminal, tty, ...): 1. cd to the downloaded .run file. 2. chmod x the .run file 3. Execute the installer with (sudo) ./[...]-installer.run 4. Follow installers instructions You can also use the .deb file for Debian based Linux distributions and the .rpm file for Red Hat based Linux distributions! Installation - Windows ====================== 1. Double click the .exe file 2. Follow installers instructions Installation - Mac OS X ======================= 1. Double click the .zip file to unzip the installer 2. Double click the expanded installer 3.
