Changes from 2.4.0.27
App:
- Switched to .NET 4.8, included in Windows 10 and later, rather than 4.8.1 which may have needed a separate redistributable.
Settings:
- Added DLSS-SR Preset L and M, fixed "Quality" percentage (thanks @renannmp!)
- Added "PhysX - Enable 32-bits GPU Acceleration (RTX 50)" setting (thanks @renannmp!)
- DLSS override settings now show the override DLL version in the dropdown, eg. "override with latest installed (v310.5.0)", along with short description of how override works.
Known Issues:
- The .NET 4.8 change may have been overridden by our build CI, if inspector fails to launch due to 4.8.1 requirement try deleting the
nvidiaProfileInspector.exe.configfile.
DLSS 4.5: With DLSS - Enable DLL Override enabled and showing as "(v310.5.0)" games will use the new 2nd-gen transformers for the appropriate quality levels automatically (Preset L for "Ultra Performance", Preset M for "Performance", with other quality levels using the original Preset K), the new presets can optionally be forced for other quality levels with the DLSS - Forced Preset Letter setting.
If the DLL override setting shows an older version (or appears as “(unknown)”), try running a DLSS-enabled game and relaunch nvidiaProfileInspector after a few minutes, alternatively reinstalling the driver or NVIDIA App may force an OTA update.
