The downloaded files in each directory can be compiled with GCC g++ (https://gcc.gnu.org/).  It is often easier to make corresponding directories for each program in a development environment such as provided by Eclipse (https://eclipse.org/).

Note that successful compilation of hp_fft require installation of FFTW (http://www.fftw.org/).
