~ NIXORY 0.8.0 ~

Usage
-------*

Run Nixory
---

If you are running nixory from the source package you will need the following dependencies:

*Python 2.6
*PyGTK 2.x
*PySQLite 2.6

Then you can run nixory either by double clicking on "nixory.py" or executing "python nixory.py" from the command line of your OS.

Usage notes
---

Using nixory is pretty intuitive and I think the options you will find in the preference windows need no further explainations. It is usually
recommended to keep heuristics enabled to improve nixory detection rates.

Nixory supports multiple firefox profiles and it will try to detect yours when you start nixory for the first time.
So you may already see your profiles in the preference window.
If you want nixory to rescan for profiles start it with the following command: "python nixory.py -auto".

If nixory wasn't able to detect your current profiles you will have to add them manually with the
"add" button in the preferences window.

You have to select the "cookies.sqlite" file of your firefox profile (If you cannot find it, use the file search feature of your OS).
Note that you may have to enable viewing hidden files by right clicking on the nixory file browser and selecting the "View hidden files" option.

Changes in 0.8.0
---

* Update database feature is no longer supported. This is due to a personal lack of time to keep it updated.
However, the current database is mature enough to offer a liable protection.

* Language and themes features are no longer supported as well. This is because I thought they were not necessary
for a small tool like Nixory.

* Major changes to the scan process were applied. It now runs faster and finally supports newer versions of Firefox. (3.x or higher)
Since Firefox 3.x uses a .sqlite file for its cookies instead of a .txt file, previous versions of Nixory didn't work with new
  versions of Firefox.

* Minor bug fixes.
