NicosCMS is a Content managed server built on the Grails Framework and runs on a Java Servlet container for that it is recomended that you use Payara(Glassfish) server it also works on Tomcat server
This server is maturing after 2 years of development

This CMS was originally designed to look like Joomla but with superior security and functionality

Features

  • Captcha on the logon screen to protect from automated hacking
  • The failed logon users are given 3 failed logon attempts and then blocked for 3 minutes
  • Caching can be disabled to override cached files with new content
  • The entire site can be cached and then caching is enabled pressing the Cache content button
  • The Bootstrap Java script menu framework is used to navigate the functions of the functions of the Administration Panel from a drop-down menu above the Administration Panel
  • Creating Templates for this CMS is alot simpler as pre-built configurable template components are supplied
  • We have added a few configurable Templates using the above pre-built configurable template components
  • We have provided a range on banners in different colours where you can display your site neme on them
  • You are able to upload your own banner immages and replace the banner images used by any template with your own banner
  • we have run this CMS on a samll viurtual server running Centos Linux and only 2 GB of RAM for a year without needing to re-boot
  • We Provide a configurable template that delivers websites with Bootstrap menu's
  • Multiple web site are supported each has a different base URL
