With several small bug fixes, performance tweaks, and beautification changes, NewBreeze 2.1.0 is now moving on to be a very smooth and a feature rich file manager.
Armed with the two new views the ApplicationView, to view/run the list of installed GUI applications and CatalogView, to group together folders with similar contents, NewBreeze 2.1.0 is now ready to make your file management experience all the more easy.
We now have a better Copy/Move system based on NBFileIO core class to perform the IO and NBIOManager gui class to show the progress.
The long promised open with defaults has finally been added to the release. Also NB 2.1.0 now tries to be freedesktop.org compliant. The default applications for mime types are now read from mimeapps.list and defaults.list files in various locations.
'Archiving Copy' functionality has been added to this release. This helps you to archive files/folders to your backup device refreshing only the modified files. Pressing [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [Alt] while dropping items executes Archiving Copy.
